Recently, my lovely little Samsung NC10 had a white screen of death. You’d be sat there looking at it and the screen would go white. A quick flick of the screen panel would bring it back to life, but it was frustratingly intermittent.

Simple enough request you would think but Microsoft are planning to release Outlook 2010 with their crappy Word engine, rather than nice CSS support. Check out the site at Fix Outlook and Twitter.

In a bizarre set of events, after upgrading to IE8, every HTML dropdown suddenly tried to open the popup blocker. After searching on the web, it appears that this is down to a conflict with the Tredosoft Multiple IE software (either that or the stand alone IE7 version).

One of the things I’ve been hunting for is a list of ‘big name’ sites that are built in Joomla. However, before I give you my list I need to caveat this. The reason I’ve put this list together is that a client has recently questioned “Why are you using Joomla?”, and this list is not the answer to his question.

There’s still no change in the schedule for the Bill. The proposed 9PM move was aimed to make it (even more) gritty. Seems that nothing has happened so far. More disgustingly, the Champions League final next week will see the Bill, once more, off our screens. As if anyone cares about ManU?
